DESCRIPTION:CHAPTER 27 will see the return of 1996\, a dynamic indie alternative duo featuring Paul and Mia Johnston. The pair have a diverse style and range of influences\, with a unique blend of contemporary music\, indie\, folk and world sounds. 1996 weave these influences seamlessly through engaging original songs and memorable covers. Over recent years the duo have performed at many venues and events in the local region\, including the Nellijam Music Festival and have supported Thirsty Merc and The Spindrift Saga. \nThe COURTYARD SESSIONS are a series of alternative music and art events that will feature an eclectic showcase of original and alternative live music\, poetry\, improv\, exhibitions and more; from local and interstate\, it’s a place for musicians\, performers and artists of all kinds. Each “Chapter” will be held in The Downward Dog Co.
