Courtyard Sessions featuring The Awesome!

CHAPTER 15 of the Courtyard Sessions will feature Mallacoota based folk, jazz and blues duo The Awesome.
Mili Cifali and Jim Horvath ‘The Awesome’ are two of Mallacoota’s most consummate professional musicians. Their folk/jazz/virtuoso performances leave audiences wild for more. The combination of a rich vocals, dazzling guitar playing, a strong bass rhythm basement and heartfelt originals creates a memorable musical experience .
Their album ‘A Little Magic’ is receiving national AirPlay via Amraps Airit program. The Awesome have been very busy touring nationally, headlining at The Alice Springs Beanie Festival (2016) and two years running at Merimbula Jazz Festival. 2017 festivals include Love Art ideas and Politics Festival in Wollongong and River of Art Festival in Batemans Bay. They have just completed touring the north coast promoting their new album ‘Poplar Road’.
The COURTYARD SESSIONS are a series of alternative music and art events that will feature an eclectic showcase of original and alternative live music, poetry, improv, exhibitions and more; from local and interstate, it’s a place for musicians, performers and artists of all kinds. Each “Chapter” will be held in The Downward Dog Co. Café’s beautiful stone courtyard in the heart of Bodalla.
The Awesome will begin their performance at 6pm Saturday 24th of March.
