DESCRIPTION:Chapter 19 of the Courtyard Sessions will feature talented local artists Beverly “Banjo” Long & Andy Bone Ford! \nBev & Andy will be bringing their unique and engaging take on old world Jazz to their performance at the Cafe on Saturday 25 August. Regarded as two of the best traditional jazz players on the far south coast\, Bev & Andy have teamed up to develop a captivating style playing tunes from the 1920s. Be taken back to when New Orleans was changing fast with such musical influences as King Oliver\, Kid Ory\, Duke Ellington and of course the great Satchmo. Jazz was hot and the Speakeasies even hotter! \nWith Bev on 4 string plectrum style 1930’s Banjo and Andy on muted style Trombone\, this duo are looking forward to presenting their music in a more laid back way at The Downward Dog Co Cafe \nThe COURTYARD SESSIONS are a series of alternative music and art events that will feature an eclectic showcase of original and alternative live music\, poetry\, improv\, exhibitions and more; from local and interstate\, it’s a place for musicians\, performers and artists of all kinds. Each “Chapter” will be held in The Downward Dog Co. Café’s beautiful stone courtyard in the heart of Bodalla. \nBev & Andy will begin their performance at 6pm on Saturday 25th of August.
