DESCRIPTION:CHAPTER 28 of the Courtyard Sessions will feature Wolf Stone\, the intriguing new musical endeavour from talented former drummer of The Swamp Stompers\, Mitch Broadhead will be coming to the Cafe Saturday 18th of May! \nDrawing from a love of anything resembling a bluesy groove\, a touch of soul and with a hint of pop/rock sensibilities. This new look and positioning upon the stage proves to not only have tested the man himself\, but unlocked an unseen exciting and energetic performance\, not to be missed. Wolf Stone is a mixture of originals and covers\, although heavily focused on original music and presenting it everywhere possible. \nMitch boasts a number of covers\, stemming from world class artists such as Son House\, Pearl Jam\, Chris Cornell\, Tom Petty and Santana\, naming just a few. The approach is of a minimalist persuasion\, based around clever arrangements and a good old bucket full of funny stories and observations. \nThe COURTYARD SESSIONS are a series of alternative music and art events that will feature an eclectic showcase of original and alternative live music\, poetry\, improv\, exhibitions and more; from local and interstate\, it’s a place for musicians\, performers and artists of all kinds. Each “Chapter” will be held in The Downward Dog Co.
